Thlopped into Existence

 It all began in a forum thread about the future of global chat. striatic was pointing out that in the future, with the game getting larger, global chat might not remain sweet for people:

“we should also say that global isn't innately sticky or sweet for most players. it can only become less sticky and less sweet over time. that, and spam filled. let's just imagine the worst and think of the deluge of penis pictures thlopping all over some future version of global.

My response was: “You have thlopped a word into the imaginations of your fellow Glitches, striatic. Thus this whole discussion is more than worth it, no matter what happens to global chat. I'm sorry, not really purposely staying OT but that word is so wondermous that it deserves its due. Please thlop along now.”

Essie Kitten declared elsewhere that the word suggested to her mind the sound of a large salami being slapped (or thlopped, if you will) onto a table.

Finally, if you have visited Fern End, you might understand why some of us Glitchen are now referring to it as the forest of the blue thloppers. I refer you to this picture of a triple thlopper.

The Problem with Ix is......

Recently a few glitches have had problems loading Ix. I, daniel5457, also have a problem loading Ix. The flash player would always crash. A few days ago I decided to say on the help chat that I was still had problems with Ix. Araldia tried helping me. But every time it didn't work. When she tried summoning me into Ix I accepted but nothing happened. "Congrats! I think you're broken!" said Araldia. We had had found a new bug. The next day I tried going to Ix in IE. It worked once (yay!) but the next time I tried I had to reboot the computer.

Glitch is opening on the 11th of August, for a whole week! Rumor? Confirmed?

According to a forum topic, the game will open on the 11^th of August, for a WHOLE WEEK. But is this too good to be true, or a false rumor? I was very keen to find out.

According to this Forum post, The Glitch Facebook page had stated that the next test will last for a full week and begin on or around Aug 11^th.

The post states that it will last for a full week, so I have no doubt it will, unless something pops up during the test. It also stated “On or around Aug 11^th”. That could mean slightly before, or slightly after. Or right on 11^th of August. What we still don’t know is what time. So I suspect that everyone with need a replacement for their F5 key on the 10^th or the 11^th.
